Submit A Fixer Story

Submit a story about your repair journey and we will share it for others to read. Here are few questions and prompts to help you:

  • What motivated you to try to repair?
  • What makes you a fixer?
  • Tell us about your experience trying and successfully repairing an item? What did you learn from it?
  • Tell us about a time you try to repair an item with a friend?
  • Tell us the story of someone you admire and inspire you to repair
  • Tell us a story of you and your community supporting one another to repair by organising events or getting together?
  • Is anything else related to repair that you think will benefit people around you?
Write an 800 words maximum story or film a video, send it to us or share it on the Leicester Fixers FB Group, we will then added on this blog.

They have different levels of activity and capacity. In all they have the main elements in common: they are interested in supporting people to repair their broken items and they are always looking for more people to support their projects.
