Do you need Help Fixing a Broken Item? Here are few steps you can take

  1. Join your local community repair discussion groups and ask directly on the forum for some suggestions on how to repair the items as well as recommendation for repairers in your area.
    1. If you live in Leicester, you can join Leicester Fixers Facebook Group
    2. If you live in Leicestershire, there are numerous groups that can support you with repair, find out about them here
    3. You can join Restarters.net and ask for suggestions on their forum
  2. Have a browse through the internet for discussion forum for suggestions and advices
    1. For Electronic items, Ifixit is a great resources
    2. as well as Youtube
    3. If you know of more resources, please contact us or comment with your suggestions of discussion forum people can join so we can added to our directory specialised in repair
  3. Pay for professional services
    1. For more repair shops in the high street, we need to support repair businesses and this by purchasing their services. Instead of buying new when something breaks and tears, contact your local repair shops for support
    2. Google them to find them or visit our directory for repair businesses in Leicester
  4. Visit a Repair Event in your area
    1. Find out about our upcoming Leicester Fixers repair events here
    2. Visit Leicestershire Fixers News to find out what is happening in your area
    3. You can also visit The Restart Project or RepairCafe.org for events in your area
