Right To Repair

The Right to Repair Campaign was launched in September 2019 and invite people across Europe to Stand Up for the Right to Repair.

In more than 16 European countries, campaign members made up of community repair groups, environmental activists social economy actors, self-repair advocates and any citizen who would like to obtain their right to repair are active around the cause of repair and this in In more than 16 European countries. 

What do they want from policy makers?
  • Good Design - Products should be design to perform, last and be repaired whenever needed.
  • Fair Access - Repair should be accessible, affordable and mainstream
  • Informed consumers - Citizens should know if their products are built to be repaired or destined to be disposable when breaking.

About the network

The Right To Repair network is made of organisations based in several European countries and they participate in shaping the campaign, forming a European wide community of people who want longer-lasting and more repairable products.
