Submit A Fixer Story

Submit a story about your repair journey and we will share it for others to read. Here are few questions and prompts to help you: What motivated you to try to repair? What makes you a fixer? Tell us about your experience trying and successfully repairing an item? What did you learn from it? Tell us about a time you try to repair an item with a friend? Tell us the story of someone you admire and inspire you to repair Tell us a story of you and your community supporting one another to repair by organising events or getting together? Is anything else related to repair that you think will benefit people around you? Write an 800 words maximum story or film a video, send it to us  or share it on the Leicester Fixers FB Group , we will then added on this blog. Delivering a Community Repair Outreach Programme

Leicester Fixers delivered the Leicestershire Community Repair Outreach Programme main aim was to support 6 community repair groups in delivering repair events across Leicestershire. We supported the creation of Coalville, Hinckley, Market Harborough, Lutterworth and Rutland Fixers as well as supported Transition Loughborough Fixers and Melton Space organisation of repair event. The project was funded through Shire Environmental Grants If you would like to read an edited version of our final report to our funders with the activities we've delivered, the organisation we've got in touch with as well as the actual outcomes, subscribe to our newsletter and indicate that you want to get more information about the Leicestershire Outreach Programme.
